liuite a ‘large number of friends aai neighbors of the Thompson and ffllfton families gave a miscellaneous shower at the Thompson home Monday evening in honor of the bride and groom, Mr. and Mrs. Morton Clifton. Mlany beautiful and aseful presents were received. The company were entertained by C. A. Penwright’s orchestra from Mt. Ayr. About fifty guests were served refreshments, and they departed wishing the youthful couple a long and prosperous journey through life, after having spent a most enjoyable evening.
