Decision «» n Meander Lands. Laporte, Ind., December 10.—Persons who have bought meander land from the state will be forced to relinquish their elairns, If a decision by Judge Gallagher, in the case of Doney against the Lea veil Realty Company, is sustained by the supreme court. Judge Gallagher ruled yesterday that the meander line of the Kankakee river was Intended to mark only the sinuosity of the stream. Therefore the owners of border lots hold natural titles to all the land between the meander line and the tnread of the str-m-Appeal may h e taken from Judge Gallagher’s decision.
