Tippecanoe County Democrat: The Jackson club banquet will be held Monday evening. December 30th and promises io be one of the best banquets of recent years. The splendid victory this year will add much interest to the occasion. It is expected that all the'democratic celebrities in this state will be present and the demand for tickets is now very large. The republicans and progressives are getting together, about like the old lady kept hotel. Dawn at Indianapolis the Marion Club, of which Albert J. Beveridge and several other prominent bull moosers are members, are trying to expel all the progressives, and in other parts of the state and nation we notice that the republicans are doing anything but extending the olive branch. The chasm is too wide and deep to be bridged, especially by the leaders of the old republican party who want to furnish the plans and specifications and he the sole owners if the bridge when completed.
