MRS. BOYCE GOES ON STAND
Aged Widow of Man Slain by Sneed Is Pathetic Figure at Trial. Fort Worth, Tex., Nov. 29. —The widow of Captain Boyce, frail, brokenhearted and aged, went cm the stand at the trial of John Beal Sneed, who Is being tried for the murder of her husband. Before the killing of her' ausband and son, Al, her hair was black and there were few lines in her face for a woman of sixty-three, but now her hair is white and her face careworn and wrinkled. She testified that Captain Boyce was weak and sick at the time he was killed and that he had formed no plot to steal Mrs. Lena Sneed or her children. Bpth the state and defense have closed and the case will go to the jury, it is expected, late tomorrow.
