COMPANY M RETURNS HOME.

South Bend Company Still Holding Down Lid at Mineral Springs Track. Company M returned Saturday afternoon on the Hoosier Limited, from the Mineral Springs race track troubles in Porter county, where, with a company of the state militia from South Bend, they were called last Tuesday by Governor Marshall to stop the races'- being carried cn there because, of the alleged gambling. The South Bend company remained until yesterday, it is understood. most of the horses having been shipped away to other points, and all danger of any race events being pulled oft having passed. The suit to enjoin the Governor and officers of the state militia from interfering with the races, was decided by Judge H. B. Tutill of the Laporte superior court Saturday, and was against the racing association. Judge Tutill holding that the calling out of the militia was a discretionary power vested in the Governor, and that he was wholly within the law in so doing in this instance. The race track promoters say that they will appeal to the United States courts from the finding of Judge Turin. .
