Miss Caroline Bakery, returned Saturday from Pontiac, 111., where she has been staying with her sister, A|rs. James R. Baker, since the death of her husband, who was killed near ; Pontiac on October 4. Her sister-in-law and two little daughters aei companied her home for a few days visit. •James Gilmore of Barkley tp., brought in a half bushel of potatoes Saturday which he calls the South African Bull Moosers. They aye a , hybrid,, a cross between the cherry blossom and peachblow, are a very late potato, and Mr. Gilmore says are excellent for keeping over for late summer use. They are of good size and good eating quality.
