Spiritism Said to Be Demonism.

A most Interesting little brochure has recently come off the press setting forth with Bible proofs that the communications received by and through Spiritist Mediums Is of Demon origin. The writer traces bls subject through the Scriptures from the time when certain of the holy angels became disobedient. He proves from the Scriptures that these fallen spirits personate the human dead, with whose past history, spirits, though Invisible, are thoroughly acquainted. He shows that they also frequently personate the Creator and the Redeemer, commanding their deceived ones to pray, do penance, etc. This, however, 11 merely to lead them on and to bring them more thoroughly under demoniacal control. Sometimes by breaking down the natural barrier, the human Will, they possess their victim, and rule him more or less to his ruin—frequently sending such to the mad-house. Numerous Illustrations, Scriptural and otherwise, are given. The price of the little book Is but ten cents; it should be In the bands of all interested in Spiritism or who have friends inter; ested- therein.
