STONE WORKER STRUCK; DIES.

Ind., Sept. 22 —Thomas Jones, 28 years old, was*, run down and instantly killed l>s a northbound freight in the yards, of the Monon railroad early this morning. lie came here about three weeks ago and has be n in the employ of the Monon Crushed Stone Company. A photograph was found on hits person. showing him in naval uniform, but nothing has as yet been aijcer-. tained concerning the ntan prior to his appearance here. The inquest will be held by the coroner tomorrow. He had been drinking during the evening and had been warned to stay off the tracks.
