H. J. Dexter's took dinner with Mrs. Piercejs Sunday. Wallace and Duke Miller were Rensselaer goers Saturday. Fred Waymire's young people called on I. F. Meader's Sunday. Mr. and Mrs George Cover called on J. W. Faylqr's Sunday afternoon. A. R. Schultz a-nd family called on Daniel Wolf's Sunday afternoon. Charles Gasoway and Mamie Jungle took in the sights at Virgie. Saturday night. 1 The writer was on the sick list j Sunday and did not: get to join the; boys in their melon raid. Mr. and Mrs. Ernest near Demotte passed village (Virgie) Saturday on their way to Rensselaer.
Mr. and Mrs. Ed Ogle and little children and Mr. and Mrs. Lew Todd| called on Mrs. Arthur Millspaugh and family. A R. Schultz is having his house re-shingled and some work of improving done. We did not learn who is doing the work. Say, you boys up south there, what do you mean by trying to turn out prize fighters? But then practice makes perfect, so go right after it.
All the Bull Moosers turned oat Wednesday to hear the Mooser speech, except William Faylor, and he was too busy trying to convert a few of his neighbors to the Mooser party.
One of our friends who will cast his first ballot this fall is going to leave the neighborhood for the soutnern part of the state; now this new vaxer is undecided which party is best or which party to join, get busy, convert him, don't let him go over to the enemy. Show him the wisdom of wr party, the only party, the democrats. Think wisely. Harry, before going over to the other side.
