Here’s a “Filler.”

She sat around in dainty frock And proudly held her head; She was the flower of the flock. But she produced so bread. —Cincinnati Enquirer. And when night fell, as black as ink, She sat with looks quite bored, And, while Ma toiled at kitchen sink, She strummed the harpiscord. —Denver Republican.
