Says He Will Remove Junk Pile Within a Few Months.

B. S. Fendig was down from Chicago Monday and in conversation with members of the city council stated that he would remove the pile of junk at the side and rear of the poultry house, petitioned for to the council last week at their regular meeting by some one hundred citizens, but would like to have until next spring to do so; that he would dispose of it and move it off as soon as he could find a decent market 'for it and hoped to do so this fall yet. He said that he did not blame the people here for wanting to have it cleaned up along the river bank, and that if the city decided to beautify the banks near the bridge he would join in with the city and spend some money to help the good work along. pjo one wants to cause Mir. Fendig any financial i loss by hurrying up the removal of this junk pile, and if he will remove it before another summer The Democrat believes that will generally be satisfactory.
