Injured in Runaway.
Sunday afternoon, about 3:30 o'tock while Mr. and Mrs. Frank P. Meyer of Danville, 111., brother Joe Meyers of Pittsburg, Pa., and sister. Mrs. Wm. Donnelly of Houston, Tex., were out buggy riding about two miles east of town, something suddenly broke on one of the doubletrees and scared the horses, and they ran away. The three latter were all thrown in the ditch; the ladiee were not 'hurt much, but Joe sustained a very badly sprained wrist and was cut in the forehead. Frank, who was doing the driving, held on to the reins and was dragged tor quite a distance and w»s badly bruised and had to call in the services of a physician. He will be confined to.the house for a few days. The horses ran on for about two miles before they were stopped by M. Y. Slaughter. The carriage was not injured very much. The team belonged to the Kanne livery barn. . ■ 'o
