A Pleasant Family Gathering.
Quite a crowd gathered at the home of Mrs. Anderson Jenkins, Sunday, in the east part of town, as guests of her son, Jesse, and family, who are visiting here a few days from Manchester, Mich.
Rev. Jesse Jenkins preached at , the Baptist church at 11 o’clok, after which all of the following guests brought well filled baskets of good things to eat and the dinner was spread on a table on the lawn at Mrs. Jenkins’. Those present were: Rev. J. P. Green, wife and son; Rev. Jesse Jenkins and family; Mr. ‘and Mrs. Victor Yeoman and family; Mr. and Mrs. Robert Hurley and children; Mr. and Mrs. Zack Stan- < ley and fchildren; Mr. and Mins. Chris Morganegg and two children; Steve Brusnahan and daughter Lucy; and her two friends, Misses Ada I Cull of Ottawa, and Alice Cull of Chicago Heights, HL; Mr. and Mrs. Earl Osborne and his cousin, Bert Avis; Mrs. Charles Jenkins and two ■ children of Wheatfield; Misses Nell ■and Ruth Gilmore of Demotte; Mr. i and Mrs> Edward Jenkins of Mc.Coysburg and his two brothers . Newton And Lincoln Jenkins of Mcj Coysburg; Vilas and Cleveland .Price; Mrs. Rachel Scott; Miss Mary Faris; Mrs. Mary Deere and family; and Miss Mary Stringer. After all had partaken of the good things ■to eat Miss Stringer was prevailed , ‘ upon by Mrs. Jenkins to take a a picture, of those present, in all «| 62 people. '
Before leaving ice cream was served and all departed wishing their hostess and her eon, who departs for his home in Michigan in a few days, many mare such happy events.- —A Guest.
