Democracy’s Task.

Democracy believes that a way can be found to put an end to monopoly and plunder in the name of Big Business. not in ways strange and new, but by restoring and exalting principles as old as this government, which' have been neglected and trampled 'Under-foot. . ■ 1 ’ This is a big task. It will require all the conscience and wisdom and energy the Democracy can bring to its performance. We must be patient enough to think, earnest enough to do right whatever it costs us,»energetic enough to fight harder for equal opportunity than the men on the other side will for unrighteous gain.
