Come Over to the Democrats.

Senator Cummins practically agrees with Governor Osborn. The former Intimates that the Chicago nominee is not the nominee of the Republican party > the latter says bluntly that the party is without a candidate for the presidency. For Republicans who believe the Chicago convention to have been unrepresentative and its actions fraudulent, and who still desire to retain their connection with the party, this seems to be the only correct position. They can eliminate the bosses only by reorganization or by fighting them from within. The end cannot be attained by bolting into another party, as completely and as viciously bossed as is the one of their present association, and which represents nothing bat the exaggerated egoism of a defeated candidate. By supporting the Democratic boss-killer Progressive Republicans would most effectually and expeditiously emancipate their own party.
