Laporte Mayor Restored to Bar After Long Legal Fight. Laporte, Ind., July I.—Mayor Lemuel Darrow oT this city, who six years ago was disbarred from practicing law in Indiana after hav ing been found guilty of subornation of perjury in connection with the trial of a Chicago woman for shoplifting, was today reinstated as an attorney by Special Judge Merritt in the Elkhart circuit court after a long-drawn-out legal battle.
