Peterson As an Agriculturalist.

In addition to being a good democrat and a good lawyer, the Crown Point Star says Hon. John B. Peterson, former democratic nominee for congress, is a good farmer and a public benefactor in making two blades of grass grow where scarce_y a one grew before. It says: "John B. Petersqn has sold his School Grove farm of 160 acres to an Illinois man for sllO per acre, and has won the reputation of being a public benefactor. The farm in question certainly grew two blades of grass where but one came up before he got the land, and he did it by sparing no expense. It never was a success as paying land until Mr. Peterson took hold of the rudder.”
