Thought to Have Been Hydrophobia.

James Fleming of south of town had a calf die Sunday with what he thought might be hydrophobia. It ran about, acting in a wild manner and frothed at the mouth. Some days ago his dog acted peculiarly and frothed at the mouth, and he killed the animal. He did not know that it had bitten any stock, but now thinks it must have bitten the calf. Mr. Fleming wanted to have the dog’s head sent in to the state health board for examination, but found that he must pay the. expense himself, therefore it was not esnt.
