Wapakoneta. Ohio. June I.—Mrs. James Alexander of near here sustained a fractured skull, and her small son’s collar bone was broken when the motorcycle on which they were riding collided with a cow. The mother will probably die. Drowned When Fishing. Columbus, Ind.. June 1-—James Cunningham, aged 4 5 years, a wealthy farmer near her.e. was drowned in Flat Rock River tonight. He was with a fishing party and i while swimming was. attacked with cramps. Ray Bozzell and Jack Amnes. who tried to save Cunningham, were rescued with ropes. A Candidate for Vice-Preisdent. Washington, June 1 Representative W. G. Redfield, a Brooklyn democrat and wealthy manufacurer, [announced himself as a candidate for Vice-President today. It is significant that yesterday Mr. Redfield had a long interview with Representative Oscar Underwood, whom he greatly admires and loyally follows.
