The Chicago Inter-Ocean . spoke very highly of Miss Ilda Schnee on the occasion of the MareschalehiVerdi memorial concert at Handel Hall, Chicago, last year. It said: “Her voice is Unusual in range, of lovely quality and considerable power. Moreover Miss Schnee is extremely musical, most prepossessing in appearance and has a striking individuality.
