William Maibauer of Medaryville, \Vho was arrested at South Bend last "week, charged with being a “white elave” trafficer, was tried in the city court in that place and was acquitted because there was not sufficient evidence produced to prove the charges against him. He was given hiß release and is now at home The many friends of his aged parents axe glad to know that the young man has been acquitted of the very serious charges preferqed against him.—Francesville Tribune.
