Indiana Victim Is Witness Against First of Eight Defendants. jm !■.* Bloomington, Ind., Jan. 26.—Harvey McFarland, a farmer of Harmony, Ind., who was nearly beaten to death by "Whitecaps” last May, was the first witness in the trial of Tobe Snoddy, the first of eight defendants accused of the crime.
