SNOW SAVES WOMAN AFIRE

Caught In Gasoline Explosion, Throws Herself into Drift., Anderson, Ind., Jan. 12.—Presence of mind probably saved the life of Mrs. Dan Ford when her Clothing caught fire while she was filling the tank of a gasoline stove in which fire was burning. 1 A terrific explosion'* followed and Mrs. Ford, with tier clothing in flames, rushed into the road screaming. Seeing a large Snowdrift-she plunged into it and by rolling over and over extinguished the flames before she had been seriously burned. The house was not damaged.
