A pretty wedding took place in Union tp., Sunday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Ropp, when at high noon their daughter, Miss Effie Ropp, became the bride of Mr. Vern Odle of near Fair Oaks. Rev. Brook of Aix, officiating. Only the immediate relatives and friends were present at the wedding. The attendants were the bride’s brother, Edward Ropp and Miss Gertrude Rademacker, both of Chicago. After the ceremony a fine wedding dinner whs served. , For the present the young couple will resfde with Mr. and Mrs. Ropp. The bans of marriage were published Sunday for the second time at St. Augustine’s Catholic church for Mr. John A. Nagel, sop of George Nagel of Plymouth, and 'Miss Eda S. Gangloff, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Gangloff of Rensselaer. The marriage will take place next Tuesday, Jan. 9, at 9 o’clock a. m., at St. Augustine’s CEuY’ch, and a wedidng reception will be hejd at the Gangloff home following the ceremony.
