Rensselaer, Ind., Dec. 28, 1911. '■ There has passed through this bank five notes, each for $55.68, signed by F. E. Babcock and paid byshim, making a total of $278.40 which according t<s the contract shown us this day, is the amount paid by Mr. Babcock for the piano given away by him on Dec. 23, 1911.
