MARIBEL KAYS REGAINS LEAD
In Democrat’s Piano Race—lda Hurley is Strong Second LIZZIE WISEMAN STILL THIRD Leaders Are Closely Bunched and Changes in Position Depends on Their Own Efforts— Many Others Coming Fast. In The Democrat’s piano race Maribell Kays has returned to her original position as leader. This is another evidence of what one who hustles may accomplish. Miss Kayes is now teaching in Oklahoma, yet her efforts before leaving have been almost as productive in her absence as when she was here in person. By inducing her friends to assist her she has, so far, set a merry pace for the balance of the candidates. This required hustle and confidence and it is absolutely essential that the ultimate winner must possess both to a marked degree. Ida Hurley, who wds leader in the Wednesday issue has dropped back to second place. Lizzie Wiseman is a strong third and many of the other candidates change positions and are making substantial gains On the leaders.
