Rensselaer Auto In Slight Collision at Brook.

Brook Reporter: Miss Maines of Rensselaer had a little scary r ut not very serious mix-up Saturday afternoon. The usual enormous booster crowd was on the 'street when she attempted to drive through the crowd with a number of ladies in her Halliday car, and in avoiding a crowd of men in the street who were too busy talking to get put of the way she crashed into the car of Wm. Deardurff, standing next to the walk. Roth of tne steering knuckles on her machine was bent, putting the machine out of commission for the time being, and the Deardurff machine 7 had the tool box and fender smashed. No one was particularly to blame for the accident, but it could have been easily avoided had the group of men paid attention to the rights of the road, or had the lady not bee'n too confused to use her clutch. It was an accident of little consequence but scary for a brief moment.
