Return From Western Trip.

Mr. and Mrs. Alf Donnelly returned Thursday night from a little over three weeks trip through the west, during which they visited Denver, Colorado Springs, Salt Lake City, Ogden, Utah, and YelloftvStone Park. They spent four days in Denver, where Mr. Donnelly’s son John has been jpcated for the past three years, also two days with John Greenfield at Colorado Springs, one day with Dr. McCurtain at Salt Lake City. The best crops seen any place after leaving Indiana was in Illinois and lowa. Much of teh country they passed through has been very badly hurt by dry weather. They had a very nice trip but the light air in Colorado got away with Alf two or three times. He don’t think much of what irrigated country he saw, and, in fact, wasn’t very favorably impressed with any of the western country. He is more tnan ever convinced , that there are worse places than Jasper county, which is good enough for him, he says.
