SAMUEL REMLEY DEAD.

Old Citizen of Wheatfield Dies Suddenly at Poplar, Mont. Samuel Remley, an old resident of Wheatfield and father of John Remley of this place, was> buried at the Prater cemetery after a short service at the Brushwood church at Aix Monday afternoon. Mr. Remley, in company with his daughter, Mrs. Alfred Barlow of Wheatfield, went to Poplar, Mont., a couple of weeks ago to visit with friends and relatives, when he was taken sick with ail attack of Bright’s disease Thursday-and died Friday, Aug. 25, just lacking two days of being 80 years of age. Mr. Remley and Cryl Steel of Wheatfield went to St. Paul to meet the body but in some manner they missed the connections with the train from the west and returned home. The body was brought here Monday and taken to John Remley’s residence where the funeral services were helcl, going, from there to the cemetery near Aix whre interment was made. Mr. Remley leaves seven children to mourn his loss, all of whom, with the exception of Mrs. Barlow of Wheatfield, who was unable to attend, were present at the funeral. His wife died Aug. 13, 1888, aged 52 year§. He formerly resided in Barkley tp., before locating in Wheatfield.
