LAND PRICES LOOKING UP IN MILROY.

The Democrat is reliably informed that the present owner of the former Henry Beaver farm in Milroy tp., —an Illinois man—was offered SIOO per acre for the 160 acres and $75 per acre for the 40 lying along side it, but turned the offer down. He wanted SIOO per acre straight through for the 200 acres. A big ditch recently put through the farm has helped farming conditions greatly in that section and they have some excellent crops' this year. There is said to be much good soil in Milroy, and when they get to turning down SIOO per acre for farms there we’ll all have to take off our hats to her.
