OPERATION POSTPONED.

Dr. and Mrs. A. N, Lakin of State Line returned home Monday after a few days visit with relatives in North Union. They were accompanied home by Mrs. Lakin’s sisters, Mesdames John Guss, B. W. Mellon and Frances Petty, who will visit there for a week. Mrs. Lakin is just out of the hospital, where she underwent a partial operation for cataract of the eyes. She has been nearly blind, and the operation is expected to relieve .the trouble. Owing to the hot weather it was thought best to postpone a part of the operation until later.
