Remington Chautauqua to Open In Annual Session August 12. The thirteenth annual session of the Fountain Park Assembly will begin at Remington August 12, iand continue to August 27, inclusive. Following is a brief synopsis of the entire session’s program: The opening day of the Assembly, August 12, wiffl be Grand Army and Sunday School day. The features on this day will be exercises by Sunday Schools; two concerts by the Bertha Wooden Concert- Orchestra, and address by Dr. H. L. Calhoun, platform manager, who will deliver a sermon-lecture every day of the Assembly.Sunday, August 13th, will be readings by Mrs. A. B. Waltz, lecture by Dr. T. B. Terhune, and concerts by Wooden orchestra. Monday, (14th)— Readings by Mrs. Waltz, lecture by Dr. Terhune, and entertainment by W. A. McCormick and Bronte, the educated dog. Tuesday (15th) —Readings by Mrs. Waltz, lecture by Rev. Joshua Stanfield, and entertainment by C. L. Durgderfer, humorist and impersonator.
Wednesday (16th) —will be C. L. S. C. day, when there will be reorganization day exercises; address by Rev. Stanfield; concerts by Rensselaer orchestra; readings by Mrs. Waltz, and entertainment by C. L. Burgderfer. Thursday (17th)— Judge Ben B. Lindsey; two concerts by Rensselaer Band, and "The Story of Tahan—the White Savage,’’ by Dr. J. H. Griffiths, in costume. Friday (18th) —Readings by Miss Ida B. Peterson; two concerts by Hurt»y Concert Company, and stockholders meeting. Saturday (19th) —Address and organization of boys and girls by Miss Peterson and concerts by Hurby Company. * Sunday (20th) —Addresses by Drs. F. W. Grossman and H. H. Peters; concerts by Hurly company and readings by Miss Brown. Monday (21st) —Miss Brown with Boys’ and Girls’ Club; addresses by Miss Brown and Dr. Peters; reading by Miss Peterson; music by Remington band, and a “fun fest.” Tuesday (22nd) —Boys’ and girls’ club, music by Rensselaer orchestra, lecture by Dr. Peters, entertainment by Joseffy, illusionist. Wednesday (23rd) —lecture by Hon. Robert P. Miles, readings by Miss Mable May, entertainment by W. S. Battis, impersonator. Thursday (24th)—WiU be “Old Settlers’ Day,” when every old settler, male or female, 65 years of age and having resided in Jasper or adjoining counties for 30 years or| more, are invited to be guests of the Park association; free admission will be given them upon application at ticket office; there will be address by Hon. R. P. Miles, music by Rensselaer band, sketches by John Q. Alter, reading by Miss May, and impersonations by W. S. Battin. * Friday (25th) — Concerts by Apollo Concert Company and Bell Ring-
