Excused for Ignorance of Law.
Indianapdiis, July 7. —Fred Knapp, of Springfield, 111., and William Minster. of Bristol, Pa., traveling salesmen, were in police court charged with violating the police regulations governing the firing of fireworks In the business district. The men pleaded ignorance of the rule and were discharged by Judge Collins because of the fact that they were strangers in the city and had not been apprised of the regulation.
