VICTIM OF BOWLDER DIES

Smitkville Man Fails to Regain Consciousness from Blow. Bloomington, Ind.. July 7. —Without having regained consciousness, John Higgins, the stone quarryman of SmithvilJe, who was struck on the head with a bowlder by Ernest Hawkins, in a ouarrel, died of his wound at the Bloomington hospital. He is survived by a widow and seven children, the youngest of whom Is only three months old. Hawkins will be arraigned before Judge Wilson on a charge of first degree murder.
