Telegraphic Reports from Many Parts of the Country SHORT BITS OF THE UNUSUAL Northwest Indiana Methodists Invite Leaders to Lafayette August 5-21. Lafayette, Ind., .June 30.—Arrangements have been completed for the thirty-seventh annual session of the Battle Ground Camp Meeting Association of the Northwest Indiana M. E. Conference, which will be held at Tippecanoe Battle Ground from August 5 to 21. A number of the leading Methodist church leaders of the United States been engaged for the program and the camp meeting will be a week longer than usual. The trustees have made arrangements for a new water supply and sewage system. Many new cottages hjave been Nmilt on the grounds, and it is expected that the attendance this
year will reach the fifty thous-j and mark. Among the speakers engaged for the camp meeting are President Francis J. McConnell, of DePauw university; Dr. H. A. Gobin, of DePauw; the Rev. Albert B. Storms, of Central Avenue Methodist church, Indianapolis; the Rev. William G- Seman, Ph. D„ of DePauw; the Rev. Kirk Wade Robbins, of College Avenue .Methodist church, Indanapolis: President Alvin Edwin Smith, of Northern university; the . Rev. Joshua Stansfield, pastor of Meridian Street Methodist church, Indianapolis ; the iterr Frank H. Sheets; D. D., of Chicago; Dr. David G. Downey, of Chicago; the Rev. Wilbur F.
