FOOT CAUGHT IN A FROG.

Panhandle Brakeman Struck by a Locomotive and Killed. Logansport, Ind., July I. W ith his foot caught fast in a frog, Frank C. Baughman, age twenty-five, of Logansport, brakeman on the State Line division of the Panhandle, was run down and killed by his own engine at JEffner yesterday. The train was being made up, preparatory to the run 6 to Logansport. Baughman was switching cars and in running across 1 the track in front of the backing engine one foot wtas wedged into a frog. He struggled desperately to free his foot and stooped to untie his shoe, when he was struck by the locomotive, was thrown backward on a rail and crushed. The body was brought here last night and the funeral will be held tomorrow. His mother, widow and three small children survive.
