SOUTH DAKOTA LETTER.

F. E. Babcock, Dear Sir:—l thought I would drop you a few lines. I left Rensselaer the second of. March, apd went to Northwestern lowa, where I stayed until April 11. It was cold and snowy the biggest part of the time. I left lowa the eleventh of April and came to Warta, So. Dak., where I am now. It is cold here now, some snow. I meet a good many of my old friends here and we are glad to see one another. Was out to my homestead to day. Have not been around much yet. Everything looks good so far as I have seen. Have been some changes since I left here a year ago. I do nos know how long I will be here or just when I will get back to my home at Rensselaer. Will probably go to the Black Hills yet, then It expect I will go to Pine River, Minn. Will not write more this time, may write you again if this is acceptable. I am well and hope this will find you and all of my friends well black there. Yours truly,—. MARION COOPER.
