NEWTON COUNTY FIELD MEET.

The several schools of Newton county have agreed upon the having of a county field meet at Kentland on Saturday, May 6, and are making earnest preparations for the various events of the day. Field sports of all kinds will be indulged in, for fitting prizes to the winners, and, doubtless, every event will be closely and interestingly contested.
