KASSABAUM GETS $700

Damage Suit Against Odd Fellows Is Compromised. Tipton, Ind., March 31. —It has been learned that Charles Kassabaum of Sheridan, who sued the encampment of Odd Fellows, of that city, for damages for personal injuries, has accepted S7OO from the lodge as a settlement of his claim. Kassabaum is crippled. He alleged that he received the injuries while being initiated. The lodge is understood to have agreed to pay the large costs of the prolonged litigation.
