MORE DIRTY POLITICS.
Republicans Insist On Keeping Liquor Question In Politics, We supposed this local option question, whether saloons' were or wer;e not to be installed in Delphi, was a social, moral question and not a political or personal one. The Proctor liquor bill passed the senate Thursday with the aid of four republican votes. Without those four republican votes it could not have been passed. Therefore the abuse of Governor Marshall for signing a platform bill that had been a clean cut issue in the campaign and endorsed by the people, is stinking argument and dirty politics. —Carroll County Citizen.
