THE COMMON COUNCIL.

The common council met in regular session Monday night with all members present;. The fi-re committee was authorized to purchase a -new team for the fire department. Ordinance No. 137 pertaining to the extension of the Monon switch tracks across Main, Franklin and Webster streets wa< read and passed to third reading. In matter of alley through block 3, the rules were suspended and resolution passed. The clerk was ordered to publish resolution as provided by law.
