Former Rensselaer Citizen Died at His Home In Englewood, 111., Wednesday. Michael O’Hallo.ran, a .Termerold time ciizen of Rensselaer died at his home n Englewood Wednesday, aged about 80 years. For several years “Mke” was engaged in the saloon business in Rensselaer, leaving here nearly twenty years ago and going to Englewood where he invested in rental property. He formerly owned the corner where the Forsythe block now stands, and “Mike’s place*’ was one of the noted resorts of old-time Rensselaer. Mrs. Maggie Hallagan received a message Wednesday afternoon from Mrs. Mary Fitzgerald, with whom he lived, saying: “Father died this afternoon.” No particulars were'given, but a letter will probably follow in a day or two.
