Take Charge of Arrangement* for State Encampment in Richmond. Richmond. lpd„ Jan 20,—At a meeting of the executive committee in charge of the G. A. R encampment to be held here May 17, 18 and 19, Law ence A. Handley, was chosen chair man and Demas S Coe secretary Both are members of the Young Men’a Business club, and the veterans of Col. Meredith G A R. Post here requested the young men to take the active lead in the arrangements for the encampment, saying that they felt their age was against them In directing the encampment plans and work. The executive committees is composed of representatives from the Commercial club, the Sons of Veterans and the Grand Army post.
