FOURTEEN MEN DROWN

Disaster Occurs Off Highland Light. Mass. Fourteen lives were lost at sea off Highland Light. Mass. Caught in a fifty mile northwest gale two barges which were being towed from Philadelphia to Boston by the tug Lykens went ashore on Peaked Hill bar and a third barge in tow of the same tug is missing and is.believed to have been sent to the bottom. The crew of the Pine Forest, one of the barges which went ashore, numbering four men, attempted to reach land In their small boat, but the craft was overturned in the breakers and all four were drowned, making a total death list of fourteen
