SOUTH NEWTON. ■, Charles Weiss shelled corn Friday and Saturday. Quite a few attended the party at Robert Yeoman’s Saturday evening. clarence Pruett and wife visited with relatives in Jordan tp. Sunday. Arthur Mayhew todk poultry to Remington Tuesday to enter it at the poultry show. Quite a few people from this vicinity attended the poultry show’ in Rensselaer last week. Misses Sadie and Bessie Paulus attended a surprise party at Mark Reed’s Friday evening. Mrs. Allie Potts and sister, Mrs. Wm. Yeoman, called on Mrs. Press Tcberts Wednesday afternoon. George Bentley and Mrs. Ed Wilson and son of Brook visited the Paulus family Sunday and Monday. Dr, Martin was called out to Mr. Grimes’ Wednesday night to see some of his family who were sick. Mr. and Mrs. James E. Reed visited with the latter’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Philip Paulus, and family Sunday. Mrs. Mary Powell and daughter, Mrs. Wm, Yeoman, and son Alva were guests of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Yeoman and family Sunday. Ernest Mayhew and family started on a trip to Missouri Monday to visit relatives. Mr. Brown is keeping house for them while they are gone.
