STRIKERS RIOT ANEW
Chicago Garment Workers Make Trouble at Shops. Rioting broke out anew in the fight of 45,000 striking garments workers against Hart, Shaffner & Marx and others firms. Following their two days’ recreation and feasting, during which they disproved the statements of the employers that their ranks are being thinned by deserters, pickets manned the shops of Hart. Shaffner & Marx more thoroughly. The first trouble during the morning broke out near the factories of Hart, Shaffner & Marx at North Wood and Blucher streets. Here twelve pickets approached workers as they were going into the factories. Private detectives interfered and in a minute blows were struck. The arrival of police from the Rawfeon street fetation prevented any serious results. No arrests were made. 0 } .
