Census Director Announces the Number of People in United States. Official figures of the census of the United States, just announced at the national capital, give a population of 93,402,1 a!, an increase of 20.09 per cent since 1900, when, the population was 76,303,387. The new figure for 1910 does not include the Philippines, Guam or Samoa, but takes in Alaska, Hawaii. Porto Rico, the Panama canal zone and those aboard naval vessels.
