ATTEMPTED SUICIDE.

Miss Florence Kays, Despondent From 11l Health, Takes Paris Green. Miss Florence Kayes, a cripple and despondent because of ill health, attempted suicide Monday afternoon at her home in the east part of town, by taking paris green. A physician was promptly summoned and her life saved, she having taken an overdose of the deadly ’powder. Miss Kayes is aged 40 years, and the care of her mother, who has been bedfast for several years, together with her own crippled . condition, caused her to become despondent and prompted the rash act.

She is recovering from the effects of the poison and will soon be all right once more.
