Fred Longwell of Brook was in Fowler yesterday and today. He will go with his mother tomorrow to Indianapolis where she will enter a hospital pending a Surgical operation. Mr. Longwell lost his case in Jasper county against the county commissioners before Judge Darroch, because the court ruled the evidence Mr. Longwell had was inadmissable. He stated he could prove that the hid for bridges was read at a certain figure by the president of the board of commissioners, while the written bid was for a greater amount. The court decided that it could not be admitted because it was heresay evidence. The people have a way of getting at things. .A little slow, but they get there".
