ELKINS CONDITION IS BETTER

Denial Made That Operation Is Contemplated to Save Life. Washington, Nov. 11. —The condition of Senator Elkins, who was brought here from West Virginia, is favorable, it was said at his home. Denials are made at his residence that an operation on the senator is contemplated. Mrs. Elkins, Miss Katherine Elkins and the senator’s son have arrived in Washington Within the past few days. Senator Elkins is '69 years old, and his term in the senate will expire in March, 1913.
